Techkinect upgraded this Mason, Ohio residence with a combination of whole-home audio, surveillance, networking, and outdoor entertainment systems.
The home's audio system was configured to provide 12 zones of streaming audio, using multiple Yamaha MusicCast amplifiers to provide convenient app-based music control throughout the residence. The system also included a Yamaha AV receiver and outdoor audio equipment, extending entertainment beyond the interior of the home.
The property was also equipped with a comprehensive UniFi surveillance system. Techkinect installed 10 Ubiquiti G4 security cameras, including new Ethernet cabling where required, along with an 8TB surveillance hard drive for local video recording.
A large 42U equipment rack was installed to centralize and organize the home's AV and network equipment, providing dedicated power, ventilation, shelving, and cable management for the technology infrastructure.
Network improvements included additional Cat6 cabling, a UniFi wireless access point, and a 24-port UniFi PoE network switch to support the home's growing number of connected devices.
The completed project created a centralized technology infrastructure capable of supporting entertainment, whole-home music, Wi-Fi, and surveillance throughout the property.
