Techkinect designed and installed the technology infrastructure for this dedicated basement home theater in Dayton, Ohio.
The surround-sound system features seven architectural Triad speakers, including three in-wall speakers and four in-ceiling speakers. Dedicated enclosures were used with each speaker to create a clean, built-in installation while keeping the technology integrated into the finished theater space.
Techkinect also handled installation of the theater's projector and projection screen along with the speaker system. Dedicated Cat6 network cabling and an Araknis network switch were added to provide reliable connectivity for the room's entertainment and control equipment.
A Control4 CORE Lite controller was incorporated to provide centralized control of the theater, along with a Control4 adaptive-phase dimmer for integrated lighting control.
The completed system combines immersive surround sound, large-format projection, lighting control, and connected entertainment into a dedicated home theater environment.
