Techkinect designed and installed this custom home theater in Mason, Ohio around a large-format 135-inch projection system and immersive surround sound.

The theater features a JVC LX-NZ3 4K laser projector paired with a 135-inch Elite Screens Aeon edge-free projection screen, creating a clean, large-format viewing experience for movies, sports, and entertainment. The projector provides 3,000 lumens of brightness along with HDR10 support and automatic tone mapping.

Audio was built around a Denon premium 11.2-channel AV receiver and a combination of architectural and traditional loudspeakers. Six Klipsch Reference Series in-ceiling speakers were incorporated alongside Episode 700 Series tower and LCR speakers, Episode in-wall speakers, and a powered subwoofer to create an immersive theater environment.

All of the primary theater equipment was organized within a dedicated Strong equipment rack with integrated power conditioning, shelving, ventilation, and equipment access. Techkinect handled installation of the projector, screen, rack, speakers, and electronics along with system configuration.

Smart remote control was also incorporated to simplify operation of the theater. Lighting control and screen backlighting were integrated with the remote, allowing the homeowner to control the theater environment without juggling separate controls.

The finished system combines large-format 4K projection, powerful surround sound, centralized equipment, and integrated lighting into a dedicated entertainment experience.
